Prolific winner Wings Locked Up (6g Munnings x Sixteen Spices, by Capote) notched up another Black Type success when taking out the $50,000 Honor the Hero Stakes at Canterbury Park on Saturday.

The Clinton Stuart trained speedster landed the five and a half furlong sprint by a length and a half taking his overall record to 17 wins from 47 starts with prizemoney now in excess of $559,000.

Wings Locked Up is the best of five winners from unraced Sixteen Spices, a daughter of Grade III winner Notagoldbrick.

He is one of 25 stakes-winner for Munnings, who continues to churn out a steady stream of winners and stakes horses.
