Munnings Colt Sold for $475,000 at Keeneland November

Stone Farm consigned a $475,000 Munnings colt purchased by Form Investments during the first day of the Keeneland November Breeding Stock Sale to lead the stallion’s offerings.

The colt is a half-brother to the stakes winning Nashville among the four winners out of Mizzen Mast mare Veronique. Veronique is a half-sister to the stakes winning Almond Roca, Grade III-placed Calistoga, and stakes-placed Calistoga.

Veronique’s granddam is the stakes winning Set Them Free, whose two Grade I winners are Kentucky Derby winner Giacomo and Santa Anita Derby winner Tiago while another of her runners is the Grade III winner Stanwyck.

Justify’s daughter Blurry Memory was purchased by Dr. Masatake Iida for $420,000 in foal to Munnings from the Denali Stud consignment.

Blurry Memory is a daughter of dual Grade I winner Moonshine Memories, whose half-siblings include stakes winner Indian Evening and stakes-placed Mo For the Money. Moonshine Memories’ half-sister Town Tour is the dam of Uncle Mo’s multiple Grade III winner Souper Hoity Toity.

This is also the family of Horse of the Year Favorite Trick and Grade I-placed Medievil Hero among others.

Munnings weanlings sold for $475,000, $220,000, $220,000, $210,0000, etc during the first three books of the sale.
