325,000gns, 200,000gns etc for Australia
Australia has made a great start with his first crop on the racecourse this year and his second-crop yearlings had plenty of admirers at this week’s Tattersalls October Sale.
Heading the way was a filly bred by Grangecon Holdings and offered from The Castlebridge Consignment who demonstrated Australia’s international appeal when selling for 325,000gns to US-based Klaravich Stables.
The filly was out of the Acclamation mare Anklet, a half-sister to Montjeu’s G1-winning half-sister Sarah Lynx.
Meanwhile, Al Shaqab Racing spent 200,000gns on an Australia half-brother to G3 Gladness Stakes and G3 Amethyst Stakes winner Onenightidreamed offered from Camas Park Stud.
