Big targets for latest Mastercraftsman stakes winner

Trainer David Simcock plans to step Carnachy (4f Mastercraftsman-Market Day, by Tobougg) up in grade after her success in Goodwood’s Listed Daisy Warwick Stakes on Saturday.

The Mastercraftsman filly saw off stablemate Bateel by a length and a half and she looks set to take up some loftier engagements.

“Both fillies could go down similar routes now - races like the G3 Pinnacle Stakes (at Haydock), the G2 Lancashire Oaks (also at Haydock) and the G1 Pretty Polly Stakes at the Curragh,” said Simcock.
