First Foal For Sioux Nation
Group 1 Phoenix Stakes and record-breaking Group 2 Norfolk Stakes winner Sioux Nation sired his first foal on 4th January when Samaden produced a bay filly. Samaden won Rome’s Premio Alessandro Perrone-L. as a two-year-old and has already bred three juvenile winners. Breeder Richie Fitzgerald of Ballinasisla Stud in Co. Waterford commented “I’m very happy with the foal. She has class, is correct and moves well.”
Sioux Nation is a Group 1-winning juvenile by Scat Daddy, just like red-hot young sire No Nay Never and was one of Europe’s most popular new stallions in 2019. He stands at Coolmore’s Castlehyde Stud in Fermoy at a fee of €12,500.
