Holy Roman Emperor Filly Delivers On Debut

Great Generation (2f Holy Roman Emperor – Adutchgirl, by Dutch Art) made a perfect start to her career when winning the Fillies’ Novice Stakes at Haydock on Friday.

Racing over six furlongs, the Marco Botti-trained newcomer raced towards the back of the field under Stefano Cherchi and was asked to quicken approaching the two furlong marker. Running on well, she led inside the final furlong and kept on to win by half a length, with another four lengths back to the favourite in third.

The promising daughter of Holy Roman Emperor is owned by Scuderia Sagam.
