Italian G3 for Holy Roman 3yo
Holy Roman Emperor enjoyed another Group success in Rome on Sunday when Victory Laurel (3c Holy Roman Emperor-Special Cause, by Fasliyev) landed a competitive sprint.
The Daniele Camuffo-trained three-year-old faced 14 rivals in the G3 Premio Tudini over six furlongs in Rome and came home half a length clear of the field.
“Last time he won in very good style. He is a fast colt and can still improve,” Camuffo told EBN.
Victory Laurel was bred in Ireland by Bert and Diana Firestone and bought for 22,000gns as a foal at Tattersalls by Federico Barberini.
