Mahler Mare Wins Maiden In Good Style

Mobile Mamma (5m Mahler – Queen Ella, by Oscar) continued her yard’s fine run of form when getting off the mark at Dromahane on Sunday.

Sean Staples took the ride aboard the Paul Pierce-trained mare, who was making her third career start in the mares’ maiden for five-year-olds and upwards. Racing in second for much of the way, the bay led from three out and drew clear on the run-in to win by six and a half lengths from Missy Mole (Getaway).
