Saxon Warrior Filly Eases Clear At Epsom
Sunday saw Strong Impact (3f Saxon Warrior - Cascella, by Iffraaj) draw clear to a deserved maiden win at Epsom.
Roger Varian’s representative was sent off favourite for the ten furlong Novice Stakes, having finished second on all of her previous starts this season. Soon in front, she drew clear a furlong later and was eased down to score by four lengths under Jack Mitchell.
Bred by Phillistown House, Strong Impact is owned by Ed Babington, James Barnett and partner. The 115,000gns yearling hails from the first crop of Saxon Warrior.
