Sioux Nation Colt Blows Them Away At Doncaster
Brave Nation (2c Sioux Nation - Suite, by Invincible Spirit) emerged as a potential Royal Ascot contender when making a hugely impressive debut at Doncaster.
Michael Bell’s charge evidently came with a reputation, as he was sent off favourite under Dylan Hogan, who rode him to make all the running in the five furlong maiden. Going best of the field with two furlongs left to race, he quickened approaching the final furlong and strode clear to score by six lengths, unchallenged.
Brave Nation is owned by Brian Goodyear and was bred by Basil Brindley of Mullinam House Stud. He continues a blistering start made by Sioux Nation at stud, with Ocean Quest (Sioux Nation) having won the first juvenile maiden of the Irish turf season.
