Sioux Nation Colt Breaks Record On Debut
Changeofmind (2c Sioux Nation - Dusty, by Paco Boy) broke the two-year-old course record at Chester on Saturday when making a winning debut in the five furlong maiden.
The sole newcomer in the field, Declan Carroll’s charge made all under Harrison Shaw and was ridden entering the final furlong. The son of Sioux Nation kept on well to beat the short-priced favourite by three parts of a length on the line.
Owned and bred by Camogue Stud, Changeofmind is the first foal out of Dusty, who has a yearling colt by Churchill. The speedy colt continues an impressive start at stud by Sioux Nation.
