Miracle Nation (Sioux Nation) Wins Her Maiden at the Curragh

Sioux Nation Filly Draws Clear In Curragh Maiden

Miracle Nation (3f Sioux Nation - Beira Miracle, by Duke Of Marmalade) built on a promising debut to run out a commanding winner of Wednesday’s six furlong maiden at the Curragh.

Kevin Prendergast’s representative caught the eye last month when running on well into fourth over course and distance, which saw her sent off favourite on her second start. Ridden by Gary Halpin, she made headway from two furlongs out and was pushed along to lead a furlong later. Soon clear, she won by an easy three and a quarter lengths.

Owned by Michael Shefflin, the first crop daughter of Sioux Nation was bred by Highpark Bloodstock and Akuna Bloodstock.
