Sioux Nation Filly Lands Listed Race On Seasonal Return

Estrosa (4f Sioux Nation – Eclairante, by High Chaparral) returned on Sunday to record her second Stakes success in the Listed Premio Sinorino at Rome.

The Endo Botti-trained won a Listed race on her three-year-old return before finishing second to Shavasana (Gleneagles) in the Group 3 Italian 1,000 Guineas and fourth to the same rival in the Group 2 Italian Oaks. She was the sole filly to line up in Sunday’s nine furlong contest and raced prominently throughout under Dario di Tocco. She ran on well to win by a neck from six-year-olds Mordimi and Canticchiando.

Owned by Alma Racing and bred by Charel Bloodstock, Estrosa is a half-sister to dual Stakes winner Mysterious Shadow (Ten Sovereigns).
