Sioux Nation Filly Not For Catching
She’s Hot (2f Sioux Nation - Timely Words, by Galileo) added a second win to her consistent record when justifying favouritism at Wolverhampton on Saturday evening.
Paul and Oliver Cole’s charge won a maiden last month and had finished second on all but one of her other starts. Ridden by Kevin Stott on her latest start, she made virtually all of the running and was two lengths clear passing the three furlong pole. Pushed along soon after, she was ridden out inside the final furlong to score by a length and a quarter, with another six lengths back to the third.
She’s Hot was bred by the Pocock family and is raced by Mrs Fitri Hay and Charlie Methven. She continues a terrific first season for Sioux Nation, who sired his third Stakes winner the previous day when Matilda Picotte captured the Bosra Shame Stakes at Newmarket.
