Six Figures Aplenty For Sioux Nation At Craven Sale
A fantastic start at stud by Sioux Nation saw all four of his offerings at the Tattersalls Craven Breeze-Up Sale sell for six-figure sums.
The Bloodstock Connection offered the first of the quartet, a late April-born colt, which was knocked down to Durcan Bloodstock for 190,000gns. The following day saw leading consignor Longways Stables sell their Sioux Nation colt to trainer Richard Hughes for 130,000gns.
Tally-Ho Stud was another major operation to invest in Sioux Nation’s second crop and were well-rewarded when selling their filly to GS Bloodstock for 150,000gns. Michael Hernon paid the same price for a filly from Derryconnor Stud, providing Katie McGivern with a fine return on her investment.
