Sixth 2011 black-type success for brilliant Holy Roman Emperor filly
Few horses win six races at any level in a season and Banimpire (3f Holy Roman Emperor-My Renee, by Kris S) has not just achieved that feat but she has amazingly notched up half a dozen black-type successes in four months.
Win number six came at the Curragh on Sunday when the Holy Roman Emperor filly proved three-quarters of a length too good for Dunboyne Express in the G2 Keeneland Royal Whip Stakes.
Banimpire, who was bred by Kilcarn Stud, has now won two G2s, three G3s and two Listed races since April and understandably trainer Jim Bolger now his sights set on a G1 prize for the gutsy filly.
“Banimpire will go for the G1 Prix de l'Opera at Longchamp next, and there's a big possibility she will stay in training next year,” Bolger told www.goracing.ie
