George Peabody (3g Holy Roman Emperor - Swordhalf, by Haafhd) quickened clear to run out a smart winner of Sunday’s seven furlong Novice Stakes at Doncaster.

A promising fourth on debut in November, the George Scott-trained bay was ridden by Callum Shepherd on return and raced in midfield in the early stages.
