Son Of Holy Roman Emperor Tops Day Four Of Tattersalls
Leading Qatari trainer Gassim Ghazali is hoping for continued success with the progeny of Holy Roman Emperor after going to a session-topping 250,000gns for Aemilianus (4g Holy Roman Emperor - Assisi, by Galileo) at the Tattersalls Autumn Horses In Training Sale.
“I’ve waited three days for this horse!” Ghazali revealed on Thursday. “Today I was determined to buy this horse so I hope he will run some good races in Qatar. I like Holy Roman Emperor, his progeny seem to like the quick ground in Qatar, and I have won the Qatar Derby with his sons Emperor Maximus last year and Roman Legend before that.”
Barton Sales consigned the Gestut Schlenderhan homebred, who earned his third Group 3 placing for Markus Klug earlier this month.
