Son Of Saxon Warrior Delivers On Return

The promising Jiff’s Army (3g Saxon Warrior – Brunelle, by Kodiac) made a winning return to action in Friday’s mile maiden at Lingfield.

Stuart Williams’ charge had placed on his three previous starts, including when finishing second in a Class 2 maiden at Epsom, won by a subsequent Listed winner. On his first run since September, the bay was sent off favourite under Jason Hart and raced prominently throughout. Leading before the final furlong, he kept on well when ridden and went on to score by a length and a half.

The son of Saxon Warrior is owned by Barber Parry Racing and was bred by Windflower Overseas.
