Son Of Saxon Warrior Makes All To Maiden Victory

Rokuni (2g Saxon Warrior – Riyaza, by Dark Angel) made all to justify favouritism in Friday’s six furlong maiden at Brighton.

Fourth on two of his previous starts, the Eve Johnson Houghton-trained grey was reunited with Charlie Bishop on Friday and was pushed along when challenged two furlongs from home. He kept on well to score by three parts of a length, with another length and three quarters back to the third.

Bred by Highpark Bloodstock, the improving son of Saxon Warrior is owned by Anthony Pye-Jeary with David Ian.
