Unbeaten Filly Leads Home 1-2 For Sioux Nation
The future looks bright for G2 Lowther Stakes entry Kinta (2f Sioux Nation - Qamarain, by Hard Spun) after George Boughey’s charge made it two from two in the Fillies’ Novice Stakes at Kempton on Wednesday.
Bought by James Delahooke from Shanaville Stables at the breeze-up sales for 110,000gns, Kinta made a perfect start at Lingfield last month and was sent off favourite under a 7lb penalty on Wednesday. William Buick rode the bay to make all in the six furlong contest and boasted a three length advantage a furlong from home. Keeping on well, she scored by a length and three quarters from the promising Apache Spark (Sioux Nation), who drew four lengths clear of the third.
Owned by Mr and Mrs Scott, Kinta was bred by David Halley and continues an impressive start at stud by Sioux Nation.
