Camelot

Camelot has numerous Group winners from STORM CAT line mares. Classic winner Latrobe is out of a SHAMARDAL mare, Skyward is out of a GIANT’S CAUSEWAY mare, Pollara had a dam by STORM CAT and dual Gr.2 winner Sober from a LOPE DE VEGA mare.

Gr.1 winners Even So and Santa Barbara have dams by DANEHILL and are therefore inbred 4x2. Camelot also has Group winners out of daughters of DANEHILL DANCER (triple Gr.1 winner Luxembourg), DANSILI (2YO Gr.1 winner Los Angeles), DUKE OF MARMALADE, EXCEED AND EXCEL, FASTNET ROCK and HOLY ROMAN EMPEROR. He has also enjoyed Gr.1 success with mares by grandsons of DANEHILL.

A mare by GREEN DESERT produced Camelot’s Gr.1 winner Athena. Russian Camelot, a dual Gr.1 winner in Australia, has a dam by CAPE CROSS, another dual Gr.1 winner Sir Dragonet is from a daughter of OASIS DREAM and a Gr.3 2YO winner has a dam by INVINCIBLE SPIRIT.

Camelot’s smart son Hunting Horn is out of a mare by INDIAN RIDGE, who also sired the second dam of his Gr.3-winning daughter King’s Harlequin.

He works with the MR PROSPECTOR line and has a Gr.3 winner and a SW from DUBAWI mares. He has SWs out of mares by GONE WEST’s sons JOHAR and GRAND SLAM and grandsons ELUSIVE CITY and RAVEN’S PASS.

Camelot’s 17 foals out of GALILEO mares include 4 SWs (inbred 3x3 to SADLER’S WELLS). Sir Dragonet, Russian Camelot and Current Option are inbred 3x3 to SADLER’S WELLS, while Sammarco and Cleveland are inbred 3x4. Camelot’s first foal out of a mare by AUSTRALIA is the 2YO Stakes winner Dancing Gemini.

Camelot’s Gr.1 winner Sunny Queen has a dam by DARSHAAN and he has two Group winners with second dams by SHIRLEY HEIGHTS, and DARSHAAN sired the second dam of Hunting Horn.
