Daughter Of Walk In The Park Delivers On Debut

Riviera Walk (4f Walk In The Park – Breve De Comptoir, by Al Namix) made a winning start to her career in the mares’ bumper at Sedgefield on Wednesday afternoon.

Trained by Jonjo and AJ O’Neill for Annie, Harriet and Lucinda Bond, the daughter of Walk In The Park was well-supported ahead of the two mile and one furlong contest. Racing prominently for much of the way under Jonjo O’Neill Junior, she was pushed along to lead from two furlongs out and, despite showing signs of inexperience, went on to win by a head. The front pair finished six and a half lengths clear of the remainder.

The promising mare was bred by Ballinaroone Stud.
