New Listed Winner By Wings Of Eagles

Aigle Vaillant (5g Wings Of Eagles – Princess Demut, by Tannenkonig) produced a game performance to win the Listed Grand Prix Anjou Bretagne at Nantes on Saturday.

Trained by Lubos Urbanek for Lokotrans, the Czech raider raced prominently under Martin Srnec and led turning for home. Ridden out to the line, he rallied gamely to deny Reverso by a head, with the pair drawing five lengths clear of the third.

Bred by Larissa Kneip, Aigle Vaillant hails from the first crop of Beeches Stud sire Wings Of Eagles. His first crop, his sole crop bred in France, also includes dual Listed winner Blue Wings and Listed runner-up Lovely Diamond.

Wings Of Eagles’ first Irish-bred crop, which sold for up to €88,000 as stores, includes impressive debut winner Marlacoo, four-year-old maiden and bumper winner Hay Meadow, and smart newcomer Churchfield Sunset.
