Son Of Vadamos Draws Clear In Maiden Hurdle
Ten Ten Twenty (4g Vadamos - Echo River, by Irish River) ran out an impressive winner of Wednesday’s maiden hurdle at Worcester.
The DJ Jeffreys-trained bay appeared to appreciate Tom Bellamy’s prominent tactics on his latest start and led with two flights left to jump. Ridden approaching the second last, he boasted a clear advantage at the final flight and kept on strongly to score by 14 lengths.
Owned by the Cheltenham Amigos, Ten Ten Twenty previously won on the flat twice for John Murphy. Bred by Declan Phelan, he hails from the first crop of Vadamos, who joined the Grange Stud roster last year.
