Race To Base (Vadamos) Wins At Loughanmore

Vadamos Four-Year-Old Strikes On Debut

Race To Base (4g Vadamos – Real Revival, by Milan) struck late to make a winning debut in Saturday’s four-year-old maiden at Loughanmore.

The Andrew Latta-trained newcomer was held up by Jack Hendrick and was asked to quicken with four fences left to jump. Improving into third before the next, he kept on all the while to lead close home, beating the favourite by a short head, with another 10 lengths back to the third horse.

The son of Grange Stud sire Vadamos was bred by Jimmy Lawler.
