Son Of Vadamos Rallies For Punchestown Success
Justicialism (4g Vadamos - Peronism, by Street Cry) displayed a winning attitude to get off the mark over hurdle at Punchestown on Monday.
The Brian Hamilton-trained bay was well-supported in the market for the four-year-old contest and tracked the leader for much of the two mile trip. Leading on the turn for home, he was headed approaching the final flight but battled back to beat the favourite by a neck under Shane Fitzgerald.
Trained by Brian Hamilton for NJ Houston, Justicialism hails from the first crop of Vadamos and was bred by his sire’s previous base of Tally-Ho Stud. Now based at Grange Stud, Vadamos has made a bright start with his first hurdlers, including maiden hurdle winner and Listed second Calvados (Vadamos). Debut winner Vadaly (Vadamos) is now based with Willie Mullins and holds Grade 1 entries for prominent owner Kenneth Alexander.
