Son Of Walk In The Park Delivers On Stable Debut
Feast (6g Walk In The Park - Lolli, by High Chaparral) made a winning start for the James Lambe yard in Thursday’s bumper at Downpatrick.
Placed on his penultimate UK start, the son of Walk In The Park had not been seen since May of last year, and was given a patient ride on his reappearance by Anna McGuinness. The bay made good headway when pushed along approaching the final furlong and was ridden inside the final furlong to lead close home.
Thursday’s win marked a first success in the saddle for Anna McGuinness, who later said, “James gave me a lot of confidence going out and said he would run well.”
Bred by Sullivan Bloodstock, Feast is owned by James Lambe with Richie Behan.
