Son Of Westerner Draws Clear On Hurdle Bow

Rock House (5g Westerner - Rose Of Dunamase, by Presenting) added an impressive hurdle debut to his fine record when drawing clear at Worcester on Monday.

The son of Westerner eased clear on his sole point-to-point start for Francesca Poste, and after joining Dan Skelton, won a bumper on his rules debut. Runner-up next time out, he was sent off favourite for Monday’s maiden hurdle and raced in midfield for much of the two mile contest. Improving to race prominently from three out, he was last off the bridle, with Harry Skelton waiting until the final flight to shake his reins. Soon clear, he led by 13 lengths on the line, with another 11 lengths back to the third.

Rock House was bred by Peter Tyrell and is owned by Michael Ariss.
