Son Of Westerner Draws Clear On Rules Debut
Impressive point-to-point winner Rock House (5g Westerner - Rose Of Dunamase, by Presenting) made a winning rules debut for Dan Skelton in Monday’s bumper at Huntingdon.
Rock House ran out an easy 13 length winner on his sole start for Francesca Poste last season and was well-supported to overcome a notable absence on his stable bow. Racing towards the back of the field under Tristan Durell, he began to make headway from five furlongs out and led approaching the final furlong. Pushed clear inside the final furlong, he went on to win by three lengths.
The promising son of Westerner is owned by Michael Ariss and was bred by Peter Tyrell.
