King Of Kingsfield (4g Vadamos - Passion Planet) could hardly have been more impressive when running out a wide margin winner of Saturday’s four-year-old maiden at Portrush.

Ridden to make all by Declan Lavery, Patrick Turley’s newcomer began to extend his advantage on the turn for home and went on to win by a distance.

Lavery reported that the winner had been working well at home and a big run was expected today. The impressive success was made all the sweeter in the colours of Mary Turley and having been bred by Mr P. Turley.
