Vadamos Filly Lands Juvenile Hurdle On Debut
Vadaly (3f Vadamos - Formerly, by Poliglote) emerged as a smart prospect when making a winning debut in Saturday’s three-year-old hurdle at Dieppe.
Trained by Daniela Mele for owner/breeder ML Bloodstock, the first crop daughter of Vadamos chased the leaders for much of the way under James Reveley. Improving to lead from three out, she was ridden from the final flight to score by a length and a half.
Grange Stud recruit Vadamos has made a bright start in the national hunt sphere, with his daughter Calvados impressing on hurdle debut earlier this week, while his only offering at the Tattersalls Ireland Derby Sale sold for €105,000. The latter was knocked down to Kevin Ross, who said, “The sire has started off well, and we have been very keen on them from the start.”
