Walk In The Park Filly Impresses On Debut
Easy Peasy (4f Walk In The Park – Cause Celebre, by Peintre Celebre) emerged as a smart prospect when producing a smart debut performance in Thursday’s bumper at Killarney.
Adam Ryan took the ride aboard the David Harry Kelly-trained newcomer, who was one of three fillies to contest geldings in the two mile and one furlong contest. Chasing the leaders for much of the way, she was travelling best of the field when producing a challenge over two furlongs from home. Leading before the final furlong, she kept on well to win by a length, with another four lengths back to the third.
“She’s a very smart filly,” the winning trainer later confirmed. “I’m very thankful to the Hanbury family. They have been good clients of mine and bred this filly as well.”
As mentioned by Kelly, Easy Peasy was bred by the late Christopher Hanbury and runs in the colours of Mrs Bridget Hanbury.
