Walk In The Park Gelding Makes Perfect Start At Dawstown

Walks In June (4g Walk In The Park – Lady Inchiquin, by Stowaway) produced a smart debut performance to win the first division of Monday’s four-year-old geldings maiden at Dawstown.

Colin Bowe’s newcomer chased the leaders for much of the way under Barry O’Neill and improved to lead from four out. Travelling well at the second last, he produced a fine jump at the final fence and kept on well to win by four lengths. A Perfect Day (Westerner) made a promising debut in second.

The son of Walk In The Park was bred by Sean Harnedy out of a half-sister to Empire Of Dirt (Westerner).
