Where's Nanny (Walk In The Park) Wins on debut at Tramore

Walk In The Park Mare Beats The Boys On Debut

Where’s Nanny (4f Walk In The Park - Loughaderra Dame, by King’s Theatre) shaped like a useful type when making a winning debut against geldings and older horses in Thursday’s bumper at Tramore.

The Willie Mullins-trained newcomer raced prominently throughout under Jody Townend and was asked to quicken from two furlongs out. Ridden to lead a furlong from home, she was pushed out to beat the favourite Cappucino (Westerner) by four lengths and three quarters. The runner-up's previous fourth at Listed level added to the smart nature of the winner’s performance, while Pirate Island (Soldier Of Fortune) made a promising debut in third.

“She is a lovely filly by Walk In The Park,” said Willie Mullins. “There could be more to come from her. I might give her a break now and bring her back in the spring, but we will see.”

Owned by Peter and Joseph Lawlor, Where’s Nanny becomes the first winner bred by JJ Harty out of Loughaderra Dame.
