Walk In The Park Mare Delivers On Debut

Piper Park (4m Walk In The Park - Shannon Theatre, by King’s Theatre) justified strong market support to make a winning debut at Umma House on Sunday.

The Harley Dunne owned and trained newcomer was sent off favourite for the four-year-old mares maiden and made all of the running under Tiernan Power. Quickening with two fences left to jump, she was ridden out on the run-in to score by two lengths.

The sales ring now beckons for Piper Park, who was bought by her handler with Rob James for €58,000 last year. The daughter of Walk In The Park was bred by Seamus McKeogh.
