Walk In The Park Mare Impresses In Listed Cheltenham Bumper

Mullenbeg (5m Walk In The Park - Oscars Joy, by Oscar) confirmed her talent with a smart success in the Listed Mares Bumper on Cheltenham Trials Day.

Placed on both her starts in Irish point-to-points, the daughter of Walk In The Park made an impressive start for Milton Harris in a bumper earlier this month. Held up by Mitchell Bastyan once again on Saturday, she made good headway from four furlongs out and cruised into the lead approaching the two furlong marker. Drawing clear upon entering the final furlong, she won by five and a half lengths.

Bred by Peter Magnier and Ms Margaret Mullins, Mullenbeg continues a terrific season for Grange Stud sire Walk In The Park, with Ginto having landed a Grade 1 earlier this month, while Jonbon remains unbeaten with a pair of Grade 2 wins to his name.
