Walk In The Park Mare Makes It Two From Two
Easy Peasy (4f Walk In The Park - Cause Celebre, by Peintre Celebre) proved a well-named winner of Sunday’s bumper at Plumpton, as she eased clear on her first start for Nicky Henderson.
The daughter of Walk In The Park carried the colours of Mrs Bridget Hanbury to a debut win at Killarney in July and was sent off favourite on her first British start in the colours of Mrs Christopher Hanbury. Ridden prominently by Freddie Gordon, she made smooth headway to lead approaching the two furlong pole and was asked to quicken a furlong later. Drawing clear inside the final furlong, she went on to win by four and a half lengths.
