Walk In The Park Mares Defies Penalty In Good Style
Easy Peasy (5m Walk In The Park – Cause Celebre, by Peintre Celebre) justified even-money favouritism to make it two from two over hurdles at Ludlow on Tuesday.
The Walk In The Park mare won a Killarney bumper on debut for David Harry Kelly, before making a successful start for Nicky Henderson earlier this season and was last seen winning a mares’ maiden hurdle at Exeter. The bay was partnered by Nico de Boinville in the mares’ novices’ hurdle and tracked the leaders for much of the two mile trip. Leading from two out, she went on to score by three and a half lengths.
Owned by Mrs Christopher Hanbury and bred by Christopher Hanbury, Easy Peasy has a two-year-old sister by Order Of St George.
