Wings Of Eagles Colt Makes All At Saint Cloud

Aigle Vaillant (3c Wings Of Eagles - Princess Demut, by Tannenkonig) ran out a commanding winner of Thursday’s Class 1 conditions race at Saint-Cloud.

Theo Bachelot set a brisk pace aboard the Lubos Urbanek-trained colt and put his rivals under pressure as he quickened into the straight. Ridden approaching the two furlong marker, he maintained a clear advantage to the line, where he led by two and a half lengths, with another five and a half lengths back to the third.

Thursday marked a third career win for Aigle Vaillant, who won his second start at the end of last season and doubled up on his three-year-old return. From the first crop of Wings Of Eagles, he is owned by Loko Trans and was bred by Larissa Kneip.
