Coco Jack (Wings Of Eagles) winning at Brighton

Wings Of Eagles Juvenile Impresses With Back To Back Wins

Coco Jack (2g Wings Of Eagles - Bright Morning, by Storm Cat) produced his most impressive performance to date on Tuesday when recording back-to-back wins in the space of just a few days.

George Scott’s charge gained his second win from four starts at Beverley on Saturday and was sent off favourite for the seven furlong novice stakes at Brighton under a double penalty. Benoit de la Sayette rode the progressive gelding to make all and was full of running with two furlongs left to race. Quickening clear, he went on to score by four lengths and three quarters, with minimum fuss.

A step up in class may now be on the cards for Coco Jack, who was bred by co-owner Stuart McPhee. He hails from the second crop of The Beeches Stud sire Wings Of Eagles, whose first runners include Stakes winner Blue Wings, four-time winner Jolienene and hurdle winner See My Eagle.
