Mo Town kicked off the yearling sales season on a big note Tuesday when Fasig-Tipton July Hip 336 sold for $100,000 – 10 times the freshman sire’s stud fee.
Consigned by breeder Brandywine Farm, the colt out of All Day Donna was purchased by Brick City Thoroughbreds late in the session to lead the five Mo Towns sold. Others in the family include Grade I winner Alphabet Kisses, Grade II winner Kissin My Love, ect.
A Grade I winning son of emerging sire-of-sires Uncle Mo, Mo Town saw his first weanlings sell for up to $185,000 last winter.
