Mo Town Head Shot

$300,000 Colt for Mo Town at Fasig-Tipton Saratoga

Mo Town’s lone offering at the Fasig-Tipton Saratoga Sale was a popular one when the colt sold to John Ballantyne and NBS Stable for $300,000 from the Gainesway consignment.

From his sire’s first crop, the colt is a half-brother to stakes winner Just Read It and out of a half-sister to the dam of Munnings’s multiple Grade II winner and Grade I-placed Venetian Harbor.

His dam Mybrokenhome is also a half-sister to stakes winner Pool Winner and is a great-granddaughter of the great racemare and successful broodmare Safely Kept.

Mo Town is a Grade I winner and dual surface graded stakes winner by emerging sire-of-sires Uncle Mo.

His first handful of yearlings to be offered have been popular with buyers, bringing $300,000, $100,000, $75,000, etc.
