Tiz The Law head shot

Another Sales Topper for Tiz The Law at OBS June

It was another sale topper for Tiz The Law this week when his daughter out of Southern Silence followed up her :20.2 breeze by selling for $400,000 at the OBS June 2-Year-Olds In Training Sale.

Sold to Bill Childs by Tom McCrocklin, the filly out of winning Dixie Union mare Southern Silence is a half-sister to four stakes performers from four to race. Among those four stakes performers are the multiple stakes winner and Grade I-placed Esplanade and multiple stakes winner Liberate.

Southern Silence is a daughter of the stakes winning Silence Dogood, who herself is also a half-sister to stakes winner Silver Haze and stakes performer and producer Unbridled Star.

“It's a good family. She just fits the mold of what we are trying to find,” Childs told Thoroughbred Daily News after signing the ticket.

Tiz The Law’s first juveniles have sold for $1.9 million, $750,000, $600,000, etc. with a winner and three other placers from six to run.
