Quartet of Weanlings for Epicenter at Fasig-Tipton November

Champion 3-Year-Old Colt Epicenter is the sire of four offerings at the Fasig-Tipton November Sale on Monday as his first weanlings hit the ring this fall.

His first of the day is Hip 16, a Taylor Made offered filly out of the winning Seize The Marquet.

This is the first foal out of that mare, who is a half-sister to the stakes winning Dashing Debby and Grade II placed Hopeful Image. Dashing Debby is the dam of the stakes winner and multiple Grade I-placed Dawn The Destroyer and multiple stakes winner Bronze Star while Hopeful Image is the granddam of recent Grade III Dowager Stakes third Anatolian.

This page is full of stakes form with 10 more stakes performers listed under her third dam and four stakes winners under her fourth dam.

Hill ‘n’ Dale at Xalapa consigns Hip 18, a colt out of the Grade III-placed Shell House.

That mare is already a proven producer with her foals including American Pharoah’s Grade III winner Hudson Ridge among her four winners. The Galileo daughter is a half-sister to Grade II winner Diabolical and Grade III winner What a Name with another one of her half-sisters the great-granddam of Munnings’ Grade II winner Scaramouche. In all, there are 18 stakes performers named on this colt’s page.

This colt’s dam sells at Keeneland November as Hip 377 in foal to Corniche.

Another first foal goes through the ring as Hip 22 for Epicenter when New York-bred Seismic Activity sells through Vinery Sales.

The March-born weanling is the first foal for Soft Shoe Kitten, a Kitten’s Joy full sister to stakes winner and Grade I-placed Gung Ho and stakes placed Kitten’s Dancer in addition to a half-sister to Grade I winner Bigger Picture. Kitten’s Dancer produced the stakes placed Beach Waltz and another half-sister is the dam of Grade II placed Summer Is Tomorrow. This page also includes Grade I winners Furia Azteca, Dancing Spree, Furlough, Fantastic Find, Finder’s Fee, We Can Seek, and Wapi, among others.

Hip 111 comes into the ring with multiple updates to his name when he sells with St George Sales.

The colt’s half-brother Desvio was already a stakes winner when the catalog was released, but added more blacktype with a third in the Grade III Virginia Derby. He is the best of three runners from three to race out of the Uncle Mo mare Fitzrovia. Unraced herself, Fitzrovia is a half-sister to 10 winners from 11 to race, including stakes winner Bow Bells and three other stakes performers.

American Pharoah’s Wigmore Street became the third with a placing in the Navigation Stakes recently. Another one of Grade I winner Marylebone’s daughters is the dam of multiple graded stakes performer Primrose Hill.

Each of the four mares on this page have produced stakes winners with three also producing stakes producers.

The Fasig-Tipton November Sale starts at 2pm ET on Monday.
