Strong Group on Offer by Epicenter at Keeneland November

Twenty-six weanlings from Champion 3-Year-Old Colt Epicenter’s first crop are set to sell over the next two weeks at the Keeneland November Breeding Stock Sales, starting in Book 1.

His first through the ring is the Brunacini Stables-bred Hip 71, offered by Taylor Made Sales Agency.

The first foal out of Ghostzapper mare Spirit Dance, the March-born colt is a great-grandson of the Grade 1 winner and champion Dancethruthedawn through her A.P. Indy daughter Dance With Doves. Dance With Doves produced stakes winner and Grade III placed Dance Again and stakes-placed Swoop and Strike among her five winners. Dance Again went on to produce the stakes placed Dancin in Da’nile with Swoop and Strike the dam of American Pharoah’s stakes placed Swoop to Finish.

Dance With Doves is also a half-sister to Danceinthesunlight, who produced Grade I winner Moreno among her seven winners from seven to race.

Taylor Made is also the consignor of Hip 483, a filly bred by Bloodstock Investments 2023.

The filly is the first foal out of Tapwrit mare Al Ula Princess, who is a half-sister to Grade I winner Princess Noor and stakes placed Protonic Power. In all, Al Ula Princess’s Grade III winning dam Sheza Smoke Show has produced three winners from three to race as one of six winners from eight runners out of the stakes winning Avery Hall.

Each of Al Ula Princess’s first five dams all produced stakes winners with five stakes performers named on the page.

Warrendale Sales consigns Hip 675, a Tony Holmes-bred colt out of Majestic Jewel.

Majestic Jewel has produced three winners from four to race with her best being the Kip Deville Stakes winner Concept and saw this year’s yearling sell for $300,000. Winning two races herself, Majestic Jewel is also a half-sister to the dual Grade I winner Evening Jewel and stakes winner Deep Jewelry.

Evening Jewel produced the stakes placed Bernadiva with two of Majestic Jewel’s other siblings also producing stakes performers, with that group led by Grade I winner Denman’s Call and stakes winner Roo’s Valentine.

Paramount Sales-offered Hip 814 is out of the stakes placed Speightstown mare That Voodoo Youdo.

Bred by Crosshaven Bloodstock, the February-born chestnut has seen her dam produce three winners with each of those also earning blacktype. That group is led by the Grade III winner Opry with That Voodoo Youdo’s Tiz The Law juvenile Don’t Call Me Babe also placed.

Each of this filly’s first seven dams have produced at least one stakes winners with 13 stakes performers named under her first three dams on the page.

Hip 947 bred by Springhouse Farm is out of the stakes placed Crespano.

Offered by Paramount Sales, the filly is a half-sister to the Grade III winner Once On Whiskey and stakes winner and Grade III-placed Coppelia among four winning siblings. This family is a strong once with all four of the dams on the page producing at least two stakes performers and three producing at least one stakes winner.

It isn’t only the filly’s dams who produce stakes horses with Grade III winner Careless Heiress – a half-sister to her third dam – producing a stakes winner and stakes performer in addition to the dams of three other stakes performers.

Rahy mare Money Madness is the dam of the Taylor Made consigned Hip 1525, bred by George Saufley, Angela Ingenito, Tony Feng, Emcee Stable, and Fortune Farms.

Money Madness was a winner on the track and went on to produce three winners with her Tiz The Law daughter also placed. The mare’s runners include Grade II winner Board Room and stakes placed Ever a Rebel to continue a family tradition. Her own dam produced two stakes performers while her stakes winning granddam Mesabi not only is a half-sister to champion Cozzene, but has also been influential as well.

Mesabi produced three stakes performers among her eight winners and saw five different daughters produce stakes performers or the dams of stakes performers. Among those named are Grade I winner Admiral Kitten and Grade II winners Krisada and Spring Venture.

After the one-session Book 1 starts at 1pm, each session kicks off at 10am with Epicenter also having 18 in-foal mares on offer.
