Camelot Colt Goes One Better At Kempton
Fresh from siring a Group 2 winner Down Under, Camelot added another winner to his fine record in the shape of Note Bleu (3c Camelot – Silent Music, by Peintre Celebre).
The Gary Moore-trained colt was one of eight to line up for the novice event over a mile at Kempton and was last seen finishing second over course and distance just five days prior. Hector Crouch made all aboard the bay, asking him to quicken approaching the final furlong and his mount quickly obliged, running on well to win by three and a quarter lengths.
Owner Chris Stedman bred Note Bleu out of Silent Music, a winning half-sister to Cheshire Oaks heroine Hammiya, herself also the dam of two Stakes performers.
