Camelot Colt Wins Second Start In Good Style

Frankendael (3c Camelot - Da’Quonde, by Pivotal) confirmed the promise of last month’s debut third when landing Wednesday’s Novice Stakes at Beverley.

Racing over ten furlongs once again on Wednesday, Tim Easterby’s charge tracked the leaders under David Allan and was pushed along to narrow the gap three furlongs from home. Ridden approaching the final furlong, he soon led and kept on strongly to win by a length and three quarters.

Owned and bred by Penhill Stud, the son of Camelot becomes the first winner out of Da’Quonde.
