Camelot Filly Bolleville Looks Something Special
The Jean-Claude Rouget-trained Bolleville (3f Camelot - Brasileira, by Dubai Destination) showed an impressive turn of foot when running out a clear winner of Sunday’s Qatar Prix De Troarn at Deauville.
The bay was stepping up in trip to a mile and half a furlong following her second in a similar contest over two furlongs shorter last month, having scored on debut in May. Cristian Demuro rode her to track the leaders, sweeping through to join them entering the straight and soon went clear, running on under hands and heels to score by seven lengths, comfortably.
The Gerard Augustin-Normand owned winner was bred by Ecurie Serval and was sourced by her trainer at Arqana for €75,000 as a yearling. She is out of the dual Listed winner Brasileira, whose siblings include dual Stakes winner Sandbar, who finished third in the Prix de Diane.
