Camelot Filly Flies Home To Claim Listed Prize
Ritournelle (2f Camelot - Robanne, by Paco Boy) impressed when coming from last to first to win the Listed Prix Herod at Saint-Cloud on Thursday.
Jerome Reynier’s charge gained her maiden win over a mile last time out and dropped back to seven furlongs on Thursday. Contesting three previous Stakes performers, the bay was settled in last by Tony Piccone and only began to make headway from two furlongs out. Ridden to lead a furlong from home, she ran on well to score by a length and three quarters.
A €260,000 yearling purchase by Mandore Agency, the progressive daughter of Camelot is owned by Jean-Claude Seroul with breeders Haras D’Etrehem and Riviera Equine.
